This is a VERY wonderful dining room set for the money. Just got it today, and it is very sturdy, in perfect shape, and even better looking than the picture! But, just so you know know, the fabric on the chairs is textured, not smooth looking like in the picture (but we think it's even BETTER!!) and the color is a combo of creams and whites. VERY classy and nice! Just a wonderful all around table for the money. People can't stop saying how great it looks! And, it says "distressed" black...don't worry..it's just a nice black wood. (Not cheap wood on either the chairs or table..nice sturdy thick wood and stable. Also, came in great shape! Would recommend this to anyone looking for this color of table!

I highly recommend this set but thought you might want to know that the fabric is more of a creme color than the white color that it looks like in the photo. It took some getting used to but now we love it. It's a fantastic value. Less than what I paid for an IKEA set a number of years ago and a much nicer appearance.

The table arrived late, but it was well worth it. It is absolutely beautiful. We did have a corner that was slightly damaged, but we may have done that trying to carry it in the house. The table is very large. We still have all six chairs at the table after taking the leaf off. Be aware that this table is VERY heavy! You may need more than two people to carry.
