I've been looking for a small affordable table that seats four with a solid wood top and this one seemed to fit what I've been looking for. I had no problem ordering but it did come in two shipments. The first was the base, which is hollow and was not packaged properly so when it arrived, the base was cracked from top to bottom in two areas. I contacted Visiondecor and they immidiately sent out a new base to replace the cracked one. The second shipment came which included the table top, supports for under the top, and the legs for the base. The four supports that hold the table top were two different colors. There was one dark brown, which matched the color of the table, and three lighter colored supports. I contacted Visiondecor once again with a photo of the mis-matching supports and they sent out replacement parts as soon as it was available. I purchased this table from Amazon for $218.00 plus shipping. It arrived about a week after I ordered it, which isn't as fast as Amazon usually ships, but it was acceptable to me.

I would give it five stars except for the following:

1) The pedestal had a hairline crack about four inches long from the base running upward. This was not something that I considered worth the trouble of returning it. But I certainly am not the only person to have received damaged pieces, so just be aware that damage seems to be a continuing quality control issue with this company.

2) The staining on all four pieces of the supports for the table top was incomplete. Each of the four supports had a thumbprint sized bare spot (completely unstained wood) on the edge closest to the center pedestal. Again, since they're not ever seen, I thought it would be easier to just use some Old English Scratch Polish (which I already had in the correct color) rather than return the... Read more

This table fit the bill for our budget, and I don't think we could have gotten better for our money. The color is perfect, and the assembly was easy enough. It's true that the base is hollow, but it is very sturdy. I wouldn't let that deter a purchase though. The packaging was excellent as well! I think if you like the picture, then you will be more than satisfied when you receive this table!
